Tyrese’s Ex-Wife Requests Permanent Restraining Order, Says Singer Has Someone Following Her; Tyrese Says Ex Is Bitter

On Thursday, Tyrese’s ex-wife stood before a judge to request a permanent restraining order against the singer. According to TMZ, Norma Gibson, revealed that the singer has someone following her and her friends and it’s making her a bit uneasy.

Gibson told the judge that the singer had been harassing her for three years since their custody evaluation back in 2014, the publication reports. She said his actions make her nervous “at times” in fear of what he might do, citing a 2007 incident where the singer allegedly punched her while she was pregnant with their daughter. At the time, Gibson said she signed an agreement to keep the situation under wraps, which she did to refrain from hurting his career.

On the other hand, according to TMZ, Tyrese says Gibson is just bitter about his new life and marriage. With Gibson’s temporary restraining order in place, Tyrese told TMZ that he hasn’t seen his daughter in more than two months and he just wants to get the legal issues out the way so that he can reunite with Shayla.

In the meantime, the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is still investigating Gibson’s initial child abuse claims against the singer.
