American Airlines Passenger Arrested After Walking On Plane’s Wing After It Landed

Police arrested a passenger who walked on the wing of an American Airlines plane after it landed in Miami.

Flight 920 had just landed in Miami after traveling from Cali, Colombia when a passenger decided to walk on the plane’s wing. The incident happened at Miami International Airport on Wednesday at around 7:30 p.m., police say.

The Miami-Dade Police Department says the passenger walked on the plane’s wings while the plane was taxiing, which means a plane is moving on its own while being on the ground.

As soon as the passenger hopped down from the plane’s wings, he hopped in some cuffs, and police arrested them, who were called to the airport. Yahoo! News reports that no other passenger was harmed, and there were no flight delays.

The airline released a statement in response to the incident. “The customer was immediately detained by law enforcement. We thank our team members and law enforcement for their professionalism and quick action.” The identity of the flyer has yet to be released.
