Adele and Celine Dion shared a touching moment during the British singer’s Saturday show.
Adele was performing her song “When We Were Young” while moving through the crowd when she spotted the legendary “My Heart Will Go On” star in the audience at her Las Vegas residency concert. Adele was visibly moved when she saw Dion seated in a side box at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The two icons teared up and exchanged a few words during their embrace, with Dion holding Adele’s face in her hands before kissing her hand.
This meeting was a meaningful reunion for the two, who share a mutual admiration. Adele has long esteemed Dion’s artistry, attending her own residency at the Colosseum back in 2018. Reflecting on the experience, Adele described it as “an absolute highlight of my life” in an Instagram post.
“Queen Celine! What a show…thank you so much for the attention to your crowd and insane humor. Happy New Year lady,” Adele wrote.
Dion also showed her love for Adele, sharing her appreciation on social media after Adele attended one of her performances, especially during a challenging time for her health. Dion has been battling Stiff Person Syndrome for several years, which has impacted her career.
