Albert Pujols Signs To The Angels For $250 Million

I figured since Baseball Wives has premiered I could at least bring you guys a little baseball news here and there. Let’s start with the controversy behind Albert Pujols signing a 10-year contract with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for a whopping $250M joining baseball’s highest paid.

So what’s the big deal? Well, Pujols spent his first 11 years in the MLB playing for the St. Louis Cardinals  winning 3 MVP Awards and 2 World Series Championships. Of course Cards fans are NOT happy to see him leave. They’re pegging him the new Lebron James, ouch! He’s also getting older. Currently at 32 years old, Pujols is set to make $25M a year playing for the Angels until he is in his 40’s. Clearly in his 40’s he’s not going to be worth the $25M but hey, get it how you live!

I’m not mad at Pujols, just like I wasn’t mad at Lebron. If you’ve got the talent and are deserving, go where the money takes you!
