Allen Iverson’s Ex-Wife Seeks $1.2 Million In Child Support Up Front

Allen Iverson may be seeking retirement but the mother of his children is not letting up in regards to child support. After having to drag Iverson back and forth to court in hopes of getting back child support Allen’s ex-wife, Tawanna, is seeking the next 13 years worth of support up front.

Allen Iverson was ordered to pay $8,000 a month for his five children after splitting with his wife. Tawanna has had to return to court SEVERAL times because her ex-husband refuses to cough up the money. After being threatened with jail time, Allen finally paid the $40,000 he owed in back support.

Now that Iverson is not only out of a job, but heading towards retirement, Tawanna does not want to run into the same child support woes again. She is asking a judge to make A.I. cover ALL the support until their youngest turns 18. That means $8,000 a month through  October 2026  which comes out to to $1,272,000 which Tawanna puts in a trust for the children.

Sounds like a smart move on Tawanna’s part if you ask me.
