David Eason has been known to be hot-tempered and crass, which is why producers of the MTV show decided to no longer film with him. However, his alleged most recent violent outburst is just unspeakable.
The father of the couples’ two-year-old, Ensley, apparently took matters into his own hands when he shot and killed the family dog for biting her in the face. TMZ reported North Carolina’s animal welfare line received an outpour of calls about the situation. Eventually, the Columbus County Animal Control center and County Sheriff’s office got involved.
Animal Control was first to launch an investigation when they visited the home. Their duty was to check for the canine’s corpse. Once they feared for their safety, they saw it in their best interest to call the local authorities. Further investigation into animal cruelty accusations soon followed.
While Jenelle has been pouring her heart out on social media about missing Nugget and being “heartbroken,” David openly expressed contentment with his rash decision. He posted, “I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog, and I don’t put up with that s*** at all. I’m all about protecting my family; it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for, and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want, but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge whether or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”
This isn’t the first time the family has had a welfare check called on them. One of “Teen Mom 2’s” seasons showed Jenelle’s ex, Nathan Griffith, being concerned about the safety of his son he shares with the reality star.
Abuse rumors also stretched to the mother of three when an assault call was made to Columbus County police. The “Teen Mom” episode aired the recording of Jenelle frantically crying and begging for help after her husband allegedly cracking her collarbone. She later dismissed the claim saying she tripped and fell by a firepit.
