Anna Wintour Tells Seth Meyers Why She Cried at Yeezy Season 3 Fashion Show – blogged by @MsJennyb

The Yeezy Season 3 runway fashion show at Madison Square Garden initiated several reactions from its audience, even tears. However, according to Anna Wintour, the tears that dripped from underneath her infamous shades were certainly not tears of joy.

Wintour visited Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday and revealed her thoughts on Kanye West’s most recent runway show.

As usual, the Vogue editor arrived early. Unfortunately, she found herself sitting alone and embarrassed, waiting for the Kardashian’s to arrive. Once they arrived, the concert and show begun, which according to Wintour, were both wonderful.

But, after fourty-five minutes, she was ready to go.

“I did happen to notice that Jay-Z had slid away. So, I thought maybe I could sneak out after him without anybody noticing. But, I slid into the basement of Madison Square Garden and I was lost there for half an hour” Wintour explained to Meyers. “I was really in tears,” She continued, revealing that a security guard who previously coached her son’s baseball team came to her rescue.

“You definitely don’t look someone who would be fine being in the basement of Madison Square Garden,” Meyers joked.

I’m sure this was the first and very last time Anna Wintour would be lost in a basement of any kind.
