Apollo Nida is up to his worst behavior while serving time at Fort Dix Correctional Institute in New Jersey. The Real Househusband of Atlanta was caught using a cell phone to contact friends and family. That’s a no-no in prison.
“The prison staff took Apollo’s violation very seriously,” the Fort Dix source tells Radar Online. “He was taken out of camp with the general population and placed in maximum security.”
How long will Apollo be moved behind the barbed wire? 18 months, sources say. Also, now that he is in maximum security, the more lenient visitation rules Apollo was accustomed to at the camp facility will be more strict. His two children, Ayden 5, and Dylan 2, will now be subject to a full body scan before each visit.
Nida is currently serving an 8 year prison sentence on felony fraud and theft charges. There’s no word as to who smuggled the cellphone into the jail for him but the source tells Radar, “Phaedra has not been questioned,” and she is not suspected as the culprit.
