Audrey Hepburn’s Son Dislikes Ariana Grande’s Givenchy Campaign “I Would Fire Her Team”

Ariana Grande posed for Givenchy’s 2019 Fall and Winter campaign after it was announced she would be the new face of the luxury brand. The photo featured her in a black dress similar to the one Audrey Hepburn famously wore in ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s.’ Audrey Hepburn’s son Sean, is thrilled about the tribute to his mother, but also thinks Ariana should fire her team.

Sean told TMZ, he’s happy with the tribute but doesn’t understand why Ariana’s team wasn’t more creative in an effort to produce something original. He feels like “all they did was make Ariana a look-a-like.” Sean said he believes the campaign was a missed opportunity for Ariana’s team to build her own identity with the brand instead of emulating Audrey.

Ariana being tapped for the Givenchy campaign was of no surprise to her fans because the singer has referenced the movie in her work numerous times and even has the quote “mille tendress” from the movie tatted on the back of her neck. Even in “7 Rings” she sings, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s and bottles of bubbles.”

Sean shared that the connection between Audrey Hepburn and Givenchy will be synonymous forever because Audrey and designer Hubert Givenchy collaborated and built the brand together. And reportedly, Audrey’s black dress in ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’ was designed by Givenchy, as was her wardrobe in ‘Sabrina,’ ‘Funny Face’ and ‘Love in the Afternoon.’

Do you think Ariana’s photo looks like an Audrey Hepburn tribute?
