Ayesha Curry Becomes New Face of COVERGIRL

The real Chef Curry is expanding her brand and lengthening her resume with a brand new partnership in the beauty industry. Ayesha Curry, best known for her work as a chef, author, television personality and dedicated mother-of-two will now be the newest face of the beauty brand, COVERGIRL.

“My philosophy is all about seeking joy and creating balance in life. I’ve shared a lot about how I do this with food, family and faith, but now = through my partnership with COVERGIRL – I want to share how makeup helps create those moments of happiness, confidence and self-expression,” Curry said. “People love when I post about beauty on social media, and of course it’s a big part of prepping for my TV show or an event. But I’m also a working mom without much time to spare, so I’ve figured out how to dial my looks way up or way down, and also to use make up as a way of bonding with my daughters.”

The self-taught chef, with the help and support of her husband, used her life-long interest in food to build her brand. The idea, which started as a blog and slowly turned itself into a YouTube channel, ultimately transformed into a TV show called “Ayesha’s Home Kitchen.” Curry’s drive and constant pursuit of her passion is what drew the brand to her, as COVERGIRL continues to partner with people who “fearlessly and relentlessly pursue their passions and boldly express themselves to the world.” Mrs. Curry exemplifies just that.

“We love a self-proclaimed beauty junkie who speaks her mind and offers strong viewpoints and perspectives,” SVP Ukonwa Ojo said of the brand. “Ayesha has a joyful energy and a big personality, but she’s also extremely relatable. Dealing with things that so many woman face – from raising two children to running a business, to creating healthy meals for her family – she’s found a way to create balance. COVERGIRL loves spotlighting inspiring stories of women achieving their dreams, and inspiring other women to do the same.”
