The rapper took to social media to comment on the 2023 death of Jacky Oh, longtime partner of comedian D.C. Young Fly, suggesting it felt like karmic repayment connected to jokes made about her during a 2018 appearance on “Wild ‘N Out.” Alongside a resurfaced clip of the episode, Banks pointed to a segment where D.C. mocked her onstage, including calling her “ugly.”
“The fact that this mans baby mother died of complications from a mommy makeover, in miami ON my birthday,” Banks wrote, before adding, “Felt like my ancestors were repaying me for his debt in blood. It was like a cat bringing the sacrifice right to my doorstep.” She followed with another post that read, “Im clearly the pettiest.”

The clip she shared captures a tense exchange that Banks has previously addressed. She said she left the set in tears and later described the experience as involving “pre-planned colorist jokes.” According to her, she had been told she would perform her music and not participate in comedic roasting segments.
Jacky Oh, born Jacklyn Smith, died in June 2023 at age 33 after undergoing cosmetic surgery in Miami. Medical reports later cited complications, including swelling and significant bleeding. Her death was ruled an accident, and authorities confirmed no charges would be filed against the surgeon.
