Bad Bunny’s historic run of shows in Puerto Rico just took a troubling turn. According to respected journalist Jay Fonseca, the international music icon was the target of a “credible death threat” during his residency on the island.

Fonseca, a former Telemundo reporter known for investigative reporting, shared that the threat surfaced online and came from an individual who was reportedly armed.

“The person who was allegedly making the threat was identified, and he was reportedly armed,” Fonseca revealed.

He also stated that federal and local authorities were involved during the shows.
