Where the Money Resides: Ball Out At These Miami Hotspots

As more and more people get vaccinated and “outside” begins to open, folks are longing to get out and find a sense of pre-pandemic normalcy. One hotspot travelers have been eager to get to is none other than Miami! For years, the warm weather, nice beaches, nightlife, and fine dining have attracted visitors to the Magic City, which also became a playground for rebels at the peak of the pandemic. For those who’ve been contemplating booking that trip to ball out (responsibly) in Miami, this might be the sign you’ve been looking for! And you know us at Baller Alert has the tea on all the go-to spots.

Ready to be a baller for a weekend, or flex amongst them? Check out some of these Miami hangouts, and keep your eyes open ’cause you never know who you might run into:

LIV on Sunday

We couldn’t do a blog about baller hangouts in Miami and not mention LIV on Sunday. This is the ultimate place where the money resides on Sunday nights in Miami. Although it’s been closed due to the pandemic, this nightclub has finally opened its doors again, and its first LIV on Sunday event was a movie! Do we even need to name all of the ballers who have graced this spot with their presence?

Swan

Monday nights at Swan, located in Miami’s swanky Design District, are literally lit (sparklers included)! Book a late-night dinner, and you might be joined by one of the restaurant’s fabulous fire dancers. Artist and super-producer Pharrell Williams is a part-owner of this spot, so you never know when he and his crew might pull up. NBA superstars like Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul are just a few ballers who have been seen dining here.

The Licking

Looking for some good soul food in the city? Check out one of The Licking‘s many locations across the city. This comfort food hotspot is the perfect mix of food, music, and culture. Grab a drink at the South Beach location’s next-door bar, Bar Idol. You never know who might stop by.

Komodo

Located in the heart of Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, this Southeast Asia-inspired restaurant serves up some of the best Asian fusion cuisines the city has to offer. This baller spot has seen Meek Mill, Timbaland, Kylie Jenner, David Beckham, Drake, and more.

Bal Harbour Shops

Forgot to pack that baller outfit, or the unthinkable happened — your luggage got loss? No worries. Bal Harbour Shops has you covered. This shopping center offers a collection of designer boutiques and luxury shopping that attract fashionistas, celebrities, and ballers alike.

KiKi on the River

Kiki on the River defines Sunday Funday. This refined Greek restaurant throws one of the best brunch/dinner parties the city has to offer, but make sure you book your reservation well in advance. Want to really ball out? Rent a yacht and pull up. The restaurant has its very own dock on site. Even Lebron James has been spotted here for a bite to eat.

Prime 112

Prime 112 is a go-to spot for every baller that touches the city. Patti LaBelle, Shaq, Clive Davis, Kelly Rowland, and Lil Kim are just a few names that have dined at this iconic south-of-fifth eatery. Fried Oreos, anyone?

Strip Clubs

You can’t come to Miami and not support the naked hustle, right? Strip clubs like G5, Tootsies, Booby Trap on the River, and The Office all bring the city out for a good time.
