Question:

Answers:

momocharlii only got x amount of years left to capitalize on my beauty n youth…n i damn sure cant waste them on him and his x amount of dollar

glamorouspieces: I personally think it shows how vain you are as an individual to judge what the relationship could be, or the “X” amount of dollars that he has at that time. I personally have no issue if you have 10 dollars or 100, that’s not the purpose of the date. I’m independent and I can pitch in it pay for my own food, I don’t need to depend on him to pay for my meal

smrtnbuetiful: I’d be taken aback he felt the need to tell me how much he was planning on spending, or had to spend. You can spend a hundred and feel like you’ve spent a million or spend a million and feel like you spent a dollar. It’s the quality of company and how we enjoy what we do. I’d question if I even wanted to spend my time with him after that. Surely my time is more valuable than the few bucks he wanted to warn me about having.

karencivil: Enough to buy groceries and rent a movie.. A nice dinner date at home..30 bucks is all you need!

dontpullmyweave: Im a gem…i can have wit a dude if he Had $5.

creole_amour: What are y’all talking about “it’s ok”, date isn’t that much! If he can’t afford a night out then he needs to work on getting himself together, NOT going out! Women cost money and if he can’t afford a date then he’s lost before the relationship even started.

tatalovesyouu: I world just go to his house & cook for him & cuddle & watch a movie , fuck we need to go out for if he doesn’t have alot of money to spend that day .

What’s MY Answer?

If he has an ongoing issue with finances I believe he needs to focus on his money issues and not on dating at the present moment. If his current financial state is just a temporary problem (because we all go through bumps in the road)  I wouldn’t want to know that he has already sat down and calculated how much a date with me was going to cost. I like simple things and I love a resourceful man. He should plan a date around his budget and not expect me to bleed him dry. I’d rather he plan something intimate and personal for $20.00 than a boring $200 date. If he can’t figure out how to make me happy with $20 he can’t afford me, mentally.
