This Thursday, Best Buy issued a recall for more than 770,000 Insignia air fryers distributed in the U.S. and Canada, NBC News reports. The recall comes after 36 reports of the devices melting or catching on fire were sent in.

The products included in the recall are Insignia Digital Air Fryers, Digital Air Fryers and Insignia Analog Air Fryers. All of the devices were sold from Best Buy, or people purchased one of the reported air fryers online. The reported air fryers were sold between November 2018 and February 2022, NBC News reports.

One of the incident reports included a child’s leg being injured. There were six other small reports of property damage and one other report of someone being injured by the device.

If you have one of the reported air fryers, you are advised to stop using the device immediately and return it to Best Buy. When you return the air fryer, you will receive a $50 Best Buy credit or a credit that covers the cost of the specific device you purchased.
