Beyoncé and Adidas Reportedly Agree to End Ivy Park Partnership

Beyoncé and Adidas have mutually agreed to go their separate ways, ending their Ivy Park partnership, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A source close to the situation cited creative difference between the German sportswear brand and Ivy Park as the reason for the split. The insider reportedly also said that Beyoncé would retain ownership of Ivy Park, “chart her own path and maintain creative freedom,” the outlet writes.

Beyoncé launched Ivy Park in 2016, partnering with British fashion retailer Topshop. After their partnership ended in 2018, Beyonce became the sole owner. She later entered a creative partnership with Adidas that same year, where together they re-launched the brand, expanding Ivy Park’s offerings to shoes and apparel.

This news comes after it was reported in February that the partnership was troubled. A Wall Street Journal report said the brand missed internal sales projections by over $200 million last year.

This past January, the superstar singer previewed her latest Adidas x Ivy Park collaboration, Park Trail, at her private concert in Dubai. It was her first live concert in four years.

The queen Bey is set to kick off her high anticipated Renaissance World Tour this May in Europe.
