Bill Cosby Believes R. Kelly Got ‘Railroaded,’ Has Good Shot at Overturning Conviction on Appeal

Bill Cosy is coming to R. Kelly’s defense.

Cosby’s spokesman, Andrew Wyatt, spoke to TMZ on Monday night, revealing that Cosby believes Kelly got “railroaded.” He blames Gloria Allred and systemic racism.

Allred represented victims in both of the high-profile cases. According to Wyatt, the comedian believes Allred is using the same tactics she used in his case against Kelly.

“You parade women out and stir up the public sentiment to go against him, and that’s what they did to R. Kelly,” Wyatt told the outlet.

Wyatt then said he believes Kelly has a good chance of overturning his conviction on appeal. However, unlike Cosby, Kelly didn’t have a deal in place preventing prosecution.

R. Kelly was convicted on nine federal counts, including sex crimes, racketeering, kidnapping, human trafficking, and obstruction.
