After many years of hinting towards retirement, Bow Wow is finally putting that plan in motion—but not before he gives his fans one last album.
On Tuesday, Bow Wow tweeted about the status of his final album, “Before 30.” During the announcement, Bow alleges that Snoop Dogg is encouraging him to complete it.
“Snoop told me no way you can retire before me. You owe us one more. Speak on all the real shit that we wanna know you been going through. Put it song and watch it flourish. – nuff said unc! #lastone,” Bow Wow tweeted.

Bow Wow has been very vocal about leaving the music industry in the past. Back in 2016, Bow hinted at retirement after he tweeted about wanting to say his goodbyes to the rap game before he turns 30.
In January 2021, Bow joined Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning where he announced the name of his final studio album.
“I’m a do one more album. It’s gonna be the last one and it’s gonna be called Before 30, and I’m a have Snoop narrate the whole thing. So it’s gonna be kind of a different project, 10 songs,” the rapper said.
He also added that the meaning behind the title is to show a reflection on, “everything I’ve accomplished, I’ve seen it before 30.”
Bow has yet to give us a time frame for the album’s release.
