Bow Wow Tweets About Girlfriend’s Miscarriage, Father’s Alcoholism And Current Mental State

Rapper Shad “BowWow” Moss has taken to social media to reveal his battle with mental health, his father’s struggle with alcoholism and that his girlfriend suffered from a miscarriage earlier this year.

On Tuesday, Moss wrote in a since-deleted tweet about his recent hardships. “Don’t really care. The media crucifies me. Im the most hated. Every girl I gave my heart to it failed,” he wrote, according to a screenshot of the tweet, which can be viewed below. “My dad is a alcoholic and is now sick. I lost my son this year! I’m over everything. Mentally I feel detached i’m in so much pain bro.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This isn’t the first time Moss has spoken out about his mental state, earlier this year Moss mentioned that he sometimes gets suicidal thoughts. “I been saying, ‘I don’t want to be here.’ What people don’t understand is like, I done lapped the world eight times,” he admitted. “It’s like me being, coming into the game young and seeing so much and doing so much, and sometimes I just question life like, ‘Damn, what else is there for me to do?'”

Moss used suicide to name his new album “Edicius,” which spells the word “suicide” backwards. The artist said it represents his fight to redeem himself. “The name represents relentlessness, coming back for more even after death. Left the old me and woke up a NEW ME,” he tweeted.
