#BoycottJimmyJohns Trends After Owner Poses With Dead Elephant In Resurfaced Photo

 – Blogged By @DanielleBTV

Cancel culture has gotten a slew of companies out of here, and after recently resurfaced photos, Jimmy John’s seems to be back on that list.

Jimmy John’s and the hashtag #BoycottJimmyJohns was trending on Friday with calls for a boycott of the sandwich fast-food restaurant chain, after a photo of the owner, Jimmy John Liautaud, with an elephant he killed resurfaced online.

Internet personality “Brother Nature,” known for his viral Twitter videos of him befriending wild animals tweeted on Friday, “We boycotting Jimmy Johns.”

The photo itself is old and has previously made its rounds on Twitter, along with plenty of other photos of Liautaud and other exotic animals that he’s hunted.

In fact, as #BoycottJimmyJohns began to trend on Friday, some people were quick to point out that the owner of Jimmy John’s is a repeat offender of hunting exotic animals and that this is not the first time a boycott has been called for on Jimmy John’s.
