Brandy has addressed her current relationship with her brother, Ray J, confirming that distance has formed between them recently.

“There is distance right now,” Brandy said during an interview with Parade, describing the current state of their relationship without adding qualifiers. She directly connected that estrangement to actions she has observed publicly.

“There are a few things that he’s been doing in the public eye that I don’t condone,” she added.

Her comments did not include specific incidents, but the framing made clear that her decision is rooted in disagreement with his viral conduct that has taken over the blogs in recent months.

“I just feel like loving him from afar right now is best for me and my peace,” Brandy said, emphasizing that the separation is about maintaining emotional balance.

At the same time, she made it clear that the relationship itself has not been erased.

“But my life with Ray and my connection with him is all throughout the book, and my love for him never wavers.”

In recent years, Ray J’s personal life has continued to play out publicly. His on-and-off divorce filings with Princess Love have made repeated headlines, with multiple separations and reconciliations documented in court records.
