The search for missing Cal State Fullerton student Nicholas Adunagow is growing more desperate as it enters its tenth day. The 21-year-old was last seen around 2 a.m. on October 14, leaving his on-campus housing on a skateboard. Security footage shows him heading south near Chapman Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue in Fullerton. His family reported him missing on October 20 after not hearing from him for nearly a week.
Police say there’s been no sign of him since that night. His phone is turned off, and there’s been no activity on social media or email. Investigators don’t believe foul play is involved right now, but they also have no leads explaining where he went or why he left. Friends describe him as reliable and focused, with no known mental health issues or conflicts.
Nicholas is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, about 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Some reports say he was wearing a dark green hoodie, gray pants, and dark sneakers when he disappeared. Cal State Fullerton police have asked the public for help, releasing photos and video stills of his last known movements.
Family members say this behavior is completely out of character. They’ve been searching campus areas and nearby neighborhoods every day. Volunteers have started sharing his photo across social media with the hashtag #FindNicholasAdunagow.
Authorities continue to investigate tips and review nearby surveillance footage. They’re also analyzing phone and financial records in hopes of finding a trail. Police urge anyone with information to contact Detective Sergeant Brown at 657-278-2903 or email chrbrown@fullerton.edu.
Nicholas’s case has sparked renewed discussion about campus safety and missing student response times. For now, his loved ones are asking the public to stay alert and spread the word. Ten days have passed, and every hour counts.
