Cardi B, Offset And Children to Star in the Upcoming “Baby Shark” Film

Offset and Cardi B, along with their children, are making a comeback in the world of Baby Shark through an upcoming animated feature film.

On Thursday, the Grammy-winning rapper announced on Twitter that she would be featured in a children’s movie called “Baby Shark’s Big Movie.” The movie will be a family affair as Cardi’s husband, Offset, and their two children, Kulture and Wave, will also lend their voices to the Paramount+ movie.

“Happy to announce that me & my family will be in the BABY SHARKS BIG MOVIE,” Cardi wrote in a tweet alongside a promo advertisement of the film.

A collaborative announcement was made by Nickelodeon, The Pinkfong Company, and Paramount+ recently regarding the upcoming Baby Shark movie. The announcement featured several new additions, such as Lance Bass from NSYNC, actress Ashley Tisdale, comedian Aparna Nancherla, SNL’s Ego Nwodim, and other notable personalities.

In addition, Cardi B and Offset will be returning to the franchise, reprising their role as Sharki B and OffShark. The couple previously appeared in an episode of “Baby Shark’s Big Show” in April last year, alongside their daughter, Kulture.

This is not the first time Cardi has shown off her talents on the big screen. In 2019, the Bronx rapper starred in the  “Hustlers” film with Jennifer Lopez, Keke Palmer and Lizzo. Nevertheless, Cardi’s much-awaited debut lead role has since been postponed as she pulled out of the movie “Assisted Living” just a few days before filming was scheduled to begin in New York last year. This decision was reportedly made because she was “overextended.”
