Chrisean Rock is ready to trade the reality TV cameras for the center ring. In a major move that has the internet buzzing, the Baltimore native officially signed her first professional boxing contract this week, marking a serious transition into the world of sanctioned combat sports.
Rock made it official on Wednesday, joining XRumble Fighting Championships’ newly formed boxing division. To make the moment even more special, she was joined by her manager, Kimberly Ross, and her son, Chrisean Jr., as she inked the deal with the promotion’s founder, Damon Feldman.
The “Baddies” star isn’t just signing for show; she already has a high-stakes debut on the horizon.
Rock is scheduled to compete in XRumble’s inaugural female Super Middleweight Championship, which will take place on Saturday, April 25, at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino in Chester, Pennsylvania. To prepare for the big stage, Chrisean has been putting in work back in her hometown under the legendary Calvin Ford.
Known for coaching world champions like Gervonta “Tank” Davis, Ford has reportedly been providing the “love, patience, and belief” needed to help Rock sharpen her skills for the 160 to 170-pound weight class.
After finalizing the contract, Chrisean took to Instagram and YouTube on Thursday to share her excitement with her fans.
“Beyond grateful… my first boxing deal is finally done @xrumble_fighting_,” she wrote in an emotional post, specifically thanking her team and her “legendary coach” for sticking by her. Feldman noted that the rapper is currently in “great spirits” and is fully committed to the physical demands of the sport. While the boxing world is still waiting to see who her first official opponent will be, Rock is making it clear that she’s ready to stand on business. “This journey means everything to me! Wassupppp Baltimore!!!”
