Just days after the #KyrieIrving for #IsaiahThomas and more trade shook up the league, the #ClevelandCavaliers have brought forth their concerns about Isaiah Thomas’ health status.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On Tuesday, the Cavs honored Irving’s trade request and shipped him to Boston in exchange for Thomas, #JaeCrowder, Ante Zizic and an unprotected 2018 first-round draft pick. But, by Friday, sources revealed that the Cavs were “weighing options” in regard to the completion of the deal.

Thomas traveled to Cleveland to take a physical exam, as all players must pass a physical. Following Thomas’ exam, the Cavs discovered the guard’s hip injury, which occurred last season. Now, the team is “considering possible ramifications,” but were “still evaluating” his health.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, the teams have until Wednesday to finalize the trade, pending the completion of physicals, the NBA reports. But, if the Cavs are not satisfied with Thomas’ evaluation, the trade could be voided or altered.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On Saturday, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that the team planned to seek further compensation before finalizing the trade.
