A Former School Therapist from Ohio, who was photographed at Vice President Mike Pence‘s desk during the deadly siege at the U.S. Capitol, has been charged on multiple criminal counts, officials said.
According to NBC News, Christine Marie Priola had already resigned from her post as an occupational therapist with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District the day after her image from riots was released to the public.
“I will be switching paths to expose the global evil of human trafficking and pedophilia, including in our government and children’s agencies,” Priola declared in her Jan. 7th resignation letter.
Priola was charged with three federal offenses: Violent entry and disorderly conduct, knowingly entering a restricted building, and unlawful activities on Capitol grounds, and made an initial appearance before a federal judge, and was released on a $20,000 bond.
