CNN President Calls Out Trump and His Administration After Bomb Scare Over Constant Attacks On Media: “Words Matter”

On Wednesday morning, officials intercepted “potential explosives” intended for Forever President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and other prominent political figures, most of whom have been critical of the Celebrity-in-Chief, Donald Trump.

Although Trump eventually denounced acts or threats of political violence, many condemned the celebrity-in-chief for his slow response, after initially only echoing Mike Pence’s tweet condemning the incident.

But now as the Time Warner Center, home of CNN, recovers from similar threats, the network’s president is calling out Trump and his administration for their constant criticisms of the media, proclaiming, “Words matter.”

“There is a total and complete lack of understanding at the White House about the seriousness of their continued attacks on the media,” Jeff Zucker said in a statement obtained by the Hollywood Reporter. “The president, and especially the White House press secretary, should understand their words matter. Thus far, they have shown no comprehension of that.”
