Countdown: Baller Alert’s Top 10 Ballerific Beefs Of 2015

What’s a year without a good celebrity beef to entertain us? 2015 surely did not slack when it came to keeping us glued to our social media accounts to enjoy the show. As we close out 2015 it’s only right we round up and count down some of the most Ballerific Beefs of 2015 (No Particular Order).

1. Lil Wayne vs Birdman: Things went bad between the self proclaimed father/son duo earlier this year when Lil Wayne sued Birdman’s label, Cash Money, for $51 million, citing alleged accounting discrepancies and accusing the label of refusing to release his long-delayed Tha Carter V album. However, things got even worse when an associate of Birdman’s shot up Wayne’s tour bus in April. A few months later a Georgia prosecutor indicted the associate. Despite the associate saying he should be charged too, Birdman has denied any involvement in the incident. Things are quiet between these two, we wonder if they are still on the outs.

2. Meek Mill vs. Drake: Once upon a time these two were cool. Earlier this year the two collaborated on “R.I.C.O.,” a song from Meek’s sophomore studio album. Shortly after the album’s release,  things fell apart. Instead of taking it to the streets, Meek took it to Twitter back in July. Meek accused Drake of using a ghostwriter, Quentin Miller, on the song, Drake responded three days later with his diss track “Charged Up,” and a few days after that,”Back to Back.” It was then “Trigger fingers” became “Twitter fingers.” By the time Meek  dropped his diss track, it was too late.

3. Taylor Swift vs. Nicki Minaj: Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to vent about her MTV VMA snub for “Anaconda.” When mentioning that less curvacious white girls get more love, Taylor quickly took offense, jumping into Nicki’s mentions to defend herself.  Other artists from Katy Perry to Ed Sheeran commented on the feud. Taylor eventually apologized publicly to  Nicki a couple of days later. By the time the awards aired the two were BFFs and opened the show together.

4. Miley Cyrus vs. Nicki Minaj: While other stars took to Twitter to joke about the short lived Nicki & Taylor beef, Miley decided to speak with The New York Times.  Just before the ceremony, Miley blasted Nicki for her comments, saying that Nicki shouldn’t have made it a race matter. Nicki decided to take it to the VMA stage to respond, ending her acceptance speech for Best Hip-Hop Video by throwing it back to the host with the now infamous line,  “Miley, What’s Good?” Poor Miley didn’t know what to do. Nicki apparently left the VMA’s shortly after. To this day, we still haven’t seen these two in the same room together and neither has issued a statement or apology on the matter.

5. Matt Barnes vs. Derek Fisher: The two former teammates were involved in a physical altercation back in October in Los Angeles, CA. Matt drove over to his ex-wife’s home after having a conversation with his sons and sensing they were uncomfortable. Matt has since received a 2 game suspension. Who would’ve thought these former teammates would end up like this.

6. Iggy Azalea vs. Erykah Badu: It all started when Erykah Badu hosted the Soul Train Awards and fired a shot directly at rapper Iggy Azalea. In a skit, Erykah pretended to say to Iggy over the phone that what she’s doing “is definitely not rap.” Iggy then responded to the diss on Twitter but Erykah quickly and hilariously shut it down. The beef ended when Erykah Badu apologized for the sake of her two daughters who are Iggy fans. She then suggested her daughters to go live with the Aussie rapper since they love her so much.

7. Amber Rose vs. Khloe Kardashian: These two had it out on Twitter early this year. The social media feud stemmed from Amber’s interview with The Breakfast Club where she spoke on Tyga and Kylie’s relationship and stated “She’s a baby. She needs to go to bed at 7 o’clock and relax.” Naturally Khloe wasn’t feeling it and the two had a Twitter showdown. At the time Amber was rumored to be dating James Harden, now Khloe is rumored to be dating him. I wonder if these two things are related.

8. The Game vs. Stitches: Stitches can never say he hadn’t been warned. Stitches posted a series of images with alleged direct messages from The Game. He seemed he was “bout that life.” One night, while Game was hosting a party in Miami, Stitches awaited the rapper outside. While thinking he could just run up on Game, Stitches ended up getting knocked out cold by Game’s manager. It’s been terrible for Stitches in these streets ever since.

9. Blacc Chyna vs. Heather Sanders:  Things got real between the two former friends the day after Christmas on Snapchat. It all started when Heather posted a couple of videos on snapchat allegedly clowning Blac Chyna. Fans made Chyna aware of the shade and she quickly reacted, taking to her Snapchat to fire shots back. Heather claims the shade was meant for her boyfriend, not Chyna, but that didn’t stop the two from entertaining the masses with their back and forth all night. Since then, Heather has kept her snaps PG-13 and Chyna has been on a mission to get back to Cali to offer Heather the ‘fade’ she promised.

10. Azealia Banks vs. ——-: Just take your pick . Azealia has beefed with just about everyone this year. It’s no wonder she was suggested to deactivate her social media accounts.
