The new year has brought zero peace for Dame Dash and Charlamagne Tha God.
After Charlamagne handed Dame the first “Donkey of the Day” of 2026 on The Breakfast Club, the mogul hopped on the POV show to deliver a scathing rebuttal.
Dame, who has been vocal about his disdain for Charlamagne’s massive $200M iHeartMedia deal, didn’t just defend himself, he created an entirely new category for his nemesis.
“First of all, pause. Don’t call me donkey of the day. That’s gay,” Dame started off, visibly irritated by the title. He went on to accuse Charlamagne of being a “b*tch-ass n*gga” who only talks tough when he isn’t being confronted face-to-face. “He always talks tough when there’s nobody there to say something, so he can really sound dumb, or rather, he sounds intelligent even when he says stupid things,” Dame added.
The legendary executive didn’t stop at personal insults; he questioned Charlamagne’s impact on Black culture, suggesting that his corporate success has come at the expense of his own people.
Dame officially crowned the radio host with a new title: “Sellout Coon of the Week.” “Going and exploiting our culture and bringing it back to them and always trying to drag a black man and other black men,” Dame explained. “But when he sees a white man that’s actually triggering our culture, he gives ’em. So he gets sellout coon of the week, and we’ll do sellout coon of the week every single [week]. And I bet you he’s gonna break the record for staying with us.”
When asked if there was any hope for a truce or a future handshake, Dame shut the idea down completely. He argued that Charlamagne makes a living tearing people down he doesn’t even know, whereas Dame only speaks on people who mention him first. “The most crazy thing about people that gossip is they get so mad if someone replies what they’re saying… He talks about other people he doesn’t know for a living, exploits ’em, tears them down, but does not do anything to empower them,” Dame concluded.
As Charlamagne continues to sit on his $200 million throne, Dame Dash is making it clear that no amount of money will stop him from “standing on business” and calling out what he perceives as culture-vulturing at the highest level.
