Derek Fisher’s Wife Says She Was Blindsided By Divorce

Last month news broke that Derek Fisher was filing for divorce after 10 years of marriage. Apparently, that was news to his wife, Candace, who was shocked to discover Derek Fisher had moved all of his belongings out of their home in the middle of the night.

Derek Fisher filed for divorce on March 18th. According to court docs filed by Candace, he refused to answer her calls and texts for nearly two weeks and even blew off their kids for several days. It wasn’t until Candace (who lives in the couple’s LA home) went to their New York apartment two weeks later that she noticed all of Derek’s clothing, personal items and computers had been removed from the home.

To add insult to injury, Derek Fisher allegedly wants the couple’s 8year old twin boys to live and attend school in NY with him, despite the fact she says all of their family, friends and schoolmates are in LA. 

I wonder what brought on the sudden change of heart.
