Earlier this week it was revealed that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Brad Pitt. Shortly after, news broke that Brad Pitt was under investigation for alleged child abuse stemming from an incident that happened aboard his private jet last week. Now there are more details.
According to TMZ, L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services is saying that Brad attacked his eldest son, Maddox, on a flight back from France. Angelina and Brad were said to have been arguing when Maddox jumped into the argument to defend his mother. Brad then lunged at Maddox but Angelina jumped in between them to block her husband. Despite Angelina’s efforts, Brad still connected with the 15 year old in some fashion.
DCFS is still trying to determine if Brad made contact with his son intentionally or inadvertently and whether or not Brad was drunk at the time. Angelina says her husband was sober at the time of the incident and got drunk afterwords, however sources close to the situation tell TMZ he was drunk at the time.
Brad denies getting physical with his son and sources say he’s never abused his children physically or otherwise in the past.
