Diddy Hit With New Sexual Assault Accusation as Los Angeles Investigators Step In

Diddy is facing new accusations of sexual assault as the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirms it has opened a review into the claims.

Authorities say they received a report from Florida describing an alleged incident involving Diddy, prompting investigators in California to begin assessing the information. Officials have not confirmed whether a full criminal investigation will follow, but the report is now being evaluated by the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office.

According to ABC 7, the initial complaint was filed with the Largo Police Department in Florida, where the man who made the allegation currently lives. A spokesperson for the department emphasized that it is not conducting its own investigation and simply forwarded the information to the appropriate office in California.

The public version of the report redacts the alleged victim’s identity, but music producer Jonathan Hay later told a local television station that he was the person who filed it. Hay has also stated that he is one of the John Does who previously filed a civil lawsuit against Diddy in July. He claims the alleged assault took place in 2020.

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month sentence in New York on prostitution related charges. Officials in Los Angeles have not released further details about the new allegations, including whether interviews or evidence-gathering efforts are underway.
