Twitter Reacts: “Dior 1s” Trends On Twitter After Sneakers Spotted at Inauguration

As the world watched Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony, Twitter users spotted a pair of costly and highly coveted designer sneakers as they flashed in the background, behind Senator Amy Klobuchar and they wanted answers.

Twitter sleuths set out to uncover who was wearing the $2,000 Jordan Dior 1’s on this historic occasion, and in no time- he was identified.

On a hunch, Twitter user “Bobby Hundreds” tweeted Kamala Harris’ niece Meena Harris asking if her husband Nik Ajagu wore his pair, and she tweeted back, “Yes. Smh.”

Sneakerheads rejoiced as one Twitter user wrote, “Can we talk about Nik Ajagu with those Dior 1s at the inauguration?? Man said you can freeze water but you can’t freeze drip.”

Twitter applauded Nik for his statement-making sneaker selection, and the gifs and memes ensued.
