During a recent livestream, DJ Akademiks addressed the online back and forth involving Joe Budden, Glasses Malone, and Adin Ross, warning that people are seriously underestimating how Adin moves in real life. Akademiks shared a personal story about attending a YoungBoy concert with Adin Ross, explaining that Adin didn’t just casually pull up. According to Akademiks, Adin booked a private jet, traveled with three off duty police officers, and had around eight armed security guards with him.
Akademiks said the arena was alerted in advance and police were already on standby because of how heavy Adin’s security situation was. From Akademiks’ perspective, the issue isn’t online trash talk. It’s the fact that people are publicly saying they would do something to a man who is surrounded by law enforcement and professional security everywhere he goes. Akademiks said anyone thinking they can bully or press Adin in public is putting themselves in a dangerous situation and possibly setting someone else up to get seriously hurt.
He went even further, saying that if Glasses Malone or anyone else were to actually run into Adin and try something, the officers around him would immediately escalate the situation, calling in additional law enforcement. Akademiks made it clear that this wouldn’t be a street situation. It would instantly turn into a police matter with serious legal consequences. This warning comes after Joe Budden made comments on his podcast suggesting he was rooting for Glasses Malone to confront Adin Ross following backlash over comments Adin made that were perceived as disrespectful to Doechii.
