Dj Khaled Talks Nipsey Hussle’s Feature on “Higher,” His Son and More 

Just hours after the highly-anticipated release of DJ Khaled’s “Father of Asahd” album, the famed DJ chopped it up with Baller Alert to talk the process, releasing Nipsey Hussle’s final music video and more. 

“Long live Nipsey Hussle, the Marathon continues,” Khaled said when asked about Hussle’s feature on the song, “Higher” with John Legend. “That record is very special to me, that record is special to the world. I’m just blessed to be able to work with him. The video is amazing, it’s beautiful.” 

“It’s all about love and peace, love and peace and unity,” Khaled added, “Love is the answer, love is the key and love is the solution. So if you come to me with love, you get love.” 

As Khaled continued, he opened up about his son’s impact on his life and career. 

“He’s everything,” Khaled said, adding, “I do everything for my son,” as he revealed the overwhelming emotions attached to the recent release of his album. 

“I love all my fans,” he said.
