DMX Blesses Fans With Virtual Bible Study Via Instagram Live

Church is in order! And it’s not even Sunday. While everyone is quarantined inside their homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, DMX gives us some comfort by reading the Bible on his Instagram Live. The Ruff Ryders founder has always been vocal about his faith and belief in Christianity, but Bible study to his 2 million followers on Instagram took things to another level.

For those suffering with mental health during these crazy times, DMX found safekeeping in reminding folks that everything happens according to God’s will, and attempting to understand it on your own would be a disservice. As he read scriptures from Ecclesiastes, audiences all around the world took to Twitter to praise him of his gestures.

Shortly after, he explains the importance of the word of God. He states, “There are no words more powerful than the book. Your own prayer will do a lot better than someone else praying for you.”

Ultimately, it’s DMX’s distinct, raspy voice and passive-aggressive way of talking that made the entire experience as fulfilling as it was. Last year, DMX returned home and back to the stage after checking himself in rehab. At a show at Hakkasan Las Vegas in between hit singles “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” and “X Gon’ Give it to Ya,” he reminded concert-goers of his struggle and how God helped him through it.
