DMX To Be Released In Exactly One Month, Plans To Drop an Album

After 11 months behind bars, DMX has finally received some good news in regards to his year-long sentence. According to TMZ, the “Party Up” singer will be released in exactly one month.

In a recent statement to the media outlet, X’s attorney, Murray Richman said the New York-born rapper will be released from Gilmer Federal Correctional Institution on Jan 27., and he can’t wait to see his family.

After his 12-month stint for tax evasion, X plans to catch up with his children, all 15 of them, including his 2-year-old son, Exodus Simmons, who has had serious health problems, the publication reports.

But, in addition to reuniting with his family, the rapper can’t wait to get back in the studio. Sources say, X has written a ton of songs in prison, so he’s planning to release an album upon his release. But, if that isn’t enough to get X back on the Hollywood track, TMZ reports that the rapper is also considering a biopic, as he has already landed a few offers.

Who should play DMX in a biopic?
