Doja Cat Doubles Down On Leaving The Music Industry: ‘Yes The F*ck I Am’

Doja Cat doubles down on her plans to quit the music business: “yes the f*ck i am.”

Last week, Doja Cat took to Twitter and opened up about wanting to leave the music industry. She’s also since changed her Twitter account name to “I Quit.”

“it’s gone and i don’t give a f–k anymore i f–kin quit i can’t wait to f–king disappear and i don’t need you to believe in me anymore,” Doja Cat wrote. “Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and i’m a f–king fool for ever thinking i was made for this this is a f–king nightmare unfollow me.”

Seemingly taking a step back, Doja Cat returned to Twitter and expressed some of the benefits of being a star in the industry.

“I can travel, I can eat good food, I can see new people, I can smile, I can make memories that I dreamed of having, I can laugh, I can support my family and my friends, I can learn about the world, and I can give back to everyone because of you. I do owe people shit. I owe a lot,” said the artist.

While many speculate whether she’ll actually leave the music game or not, it seems Doja is hard set on moving on from making hits.

On March 28, MIX 105.1 reposted a story published by Audacy titled “Doja Cat apologizes for saying she’s quitting music. In its caption, MIX 105.1 wrote, “Ok so maybe @ DojaCat isn’t retiring,” and tagged Pike Taylor Radio. Underneath radio station’s tweet, Doja Cat wrote “yes the f*ck i am.”
