Donald Trump Didn’t Get Arrested, But He Asked His MAGA Followers To Donate To The “Witch Hunt”

Donald Trump made some wild claims; he predicted his own arrest but come to find Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg hasn’t made any announcement of an indictment yet.

Trump posted on his social media app Truth Social over the weekend that he would be arrested on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, but that didn’t happen.

He sent out a fundraising email on Monday, calling out the supposed “witch hunt” that could lead to his arrest and asking for petition signatures.  The email directs supporters to Trump’s official fundraising page, where he’s asking for up to $3,300 to fund his 2024 presidential campaign.

Apparently, Trump’s lawyer Joe Tacopina thinks the arrest prediction will actually help boost his fundraising numbers.  Trump’s campaign reportedly had just $25 million in the bank at the start of 2023, down from $105 million the previous year.  So you know he’s trying to hustle as much cash as possible from his MAGA supporters before the Federal Election Commission’s first-quarter fundraising report deadline on March 31.

But let’s be real, Trump’s arrest prediction might just be a bunch of hot air.  It’s all a distraction from the real issues.
