Dr. Pepper Introduces Limited Edition Alcohol-Free Bourbon Flavored Soda

Dr. Pepper is stepping its game up with an all-new soda that tastes like barrel-age Bourbon, but getting your hands on this exclusive is not easy.

Appropriately called Bourbon Flavored Fansville Reserved, the alcohol-flavored beverage does not actually contain booze. However, this drink is fitting for the mocktail lovers of the world. This may leave some wondering what on earth a quencher such as this may taste like, with Dr. Pepper describing it as having “sweet, savory, and woody notes with subtle hints of cherry, vanilla, chocolate, and caramel.” This festive drink was inspired by tailgating and even comes in a mock burgundy-colored Bourbon box.

If you insist on actual Bourbon in your new Dr. Pepper Bourbon Flavored Fansville Reserved, mixing in a shot of the whiskey will do the trick. That is, if you are able to score a can.

Unfortunately, this is not a drink you can go and pick up in stores. In fact, the company is only releasing it by way of sweepstakes. Making things even more difficult is that the contest is available for Pepper Perks members only. The good news is it isn’t too late to enroll in the rewards program. Head over to Drpepper.com and fill out the free sign-up form. Once you complete that, log in and partake in their scratch-to-win game for your chance to have a can of this limited-edition pop delivered to you.

The sweepstakes end on November 17th, so don’t drag your feet! Head over to Dr. Pepper NOW.
