Remember when Drake tried to casually say he bought 42 engagement rings thinking every girl was the one? Well, now he is revealing the hefty price he paid for “Previous Engagement” pieces.
On Saturday, an Instagram influencer, Chris Smoove, asked Drizzy how much his outfit costs and then asked about the now-famous chain.
Before answering, Drake was hesitant, then finally said, “Honestly, I’m embarrassed to say, probably like nine, over 10 M’s (million) for sure.”
Last December, jeweler Alex Moss unveiled an iced-out chain of those 42 diamond engagement rings.
“New piece titled ‘Previous Engagements’ for all the times he thought about it but never did it,” the jeweler captioned his Instagram video. “42 engagement rings, 351.38 carats in diamonds. By Alex Moss New York & Drake.”
The woman narrating the clips says that ordering a piece like that is impossible, and every diamond must be hand-selected.
