Drake and Scooter Braun Buy Ownership Stake In 100 Thieves eSports Brand

Drake and Scooter Braun are coming together to purchase an ownership stake in 100 Thieves.

100 Thieves is a professional American eSports company founded by gaming mogul Nadeshot that has teams compete in a League of Legends, Call of Duty and Fortnite. The teams compete in tournaments worldwide to win prizes along with money.

Nadeshot, who is a former Call of Duty champion, is helping reel in potential customers and fellow gamers with his reputation in the gaming industry.  The company, in addition to gaming, also sells apparel and other types of clothing. The brand has already raised $25 million in investment money from other collaborators including Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert.

Drake and Scooter will come on board as the company’s strategic advisors. This adds to Drake’s contributions to the company as he has worked with 100 Thieves by having custom gaming stations on his Scorpion tour.

In a statement, Braun said, “With Matt’s [aka Nadeshot] experience, talent and vision as a professional gamer he and his team have built one of the most authentic brands in the ever-evolving gaming space.” He added, “We are honored to join the 100 Thieves family during this exciting phase of their professional journey. I personally could not be more thrilled for 100 Thieves. This is just the beginning.”
