Verzuz Battle

E-40 and Too Short Will Be The Final Verzuz of 2020

Ah, Shoot now! This will be a good one between Too Short and E-40. The two west coast legends will end 2020 off right when they take the Verzuz stage.

After the Covid-19-related cancellation of Ashanti and Keyshia Cole this weekend, it was announced on Sunday that Too Short and E-40 would step in as the last Verzuz of this crazy and wild year.

Ashanti and Keyshia Coleā€™s Verzuz was a highly anticipated R&B event, but on Saturday, Ashanti announced she had tested positive for the novel virus and would have to cancel. Their battle has now been rescheduled to January 9, a confirmed date announced on the official Verzuz website.

ā€œUnfortunately, we have to postpone tonightā€™s @Ashanti vs @KeyshiaCole #VERZUZ. Ashanti tested positive for COVID-19 beforehand, and we cannot put anyone at risk in the process. First time this has struck us so close to showtime. We apologize to our incredible audience! Get well soon, Ashanti. Wear a mask, stay inside, and take COVID-19 seriously. Itā€™s truly affecting our community.ā€
