Ed Hartwell’s daughter, Ella Grace, with his estranged wife Keshia Knight Pulliam, was born and it has been determined that Hartwell is indeed the father.
Keshia gave birth to Ella Grace in late January and according to sources close to the situation, Ed Hartwell wasn’t present.
He didn’t get a call or anything [from Knight Pulliam or her family],” insiders told Page Six. “Ed basically found out at the same time as the rest of the world.”
Now that the baby is here and paternity has been established, it’s time for these two to come up with a child support agreement. However, the 38-year-old former NFL Baller wants to pump the brakes on paying anything until the court determines just how much he has to shell out.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Hartwell is calling BS on Keshia’s request for emergency financial support. He believes both parties have deep pockets, so emergency support isn’t necessary. Hartwell is asking a judge to assess his finances and come up with an exact amount that he should pay. He also wants the judge to take into consideration the costs associated with him setting up a nursery for Ella Grace at his home.
