Elon Musk is once again finding himself at the center of a social media firestorm after appearing to back some very extreme views on race and the future of the West.
On Thursday, the Twitter owner shared a post that warned of a grim future for White men if current demographic trends continue. The original message, which Musk quoted, took a hardline stance on survival, claiming, “If White men become a minority, we will be slaughtered.”
The post went on to argue that “White solidarity is the only way to survive,” suggesting that non-White groups would become “1000x times more hostile and cruel” if they were to hold a collective majority. Musk simply added a “100” emoji to the repost, a move many interpreted as a full endorsement of the message.
This latest move comes as the world approaches the one-year anniversary of Musk’s controversial appearance at Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025. During those festivities, Musk was heavily criticized for a hand gesture, tapping his chest and extending his arm outward, that many claimed looked like a Nazi salute.
While the Anti-Defamation League and other defenders argued it was just an “awkward expression of enthusiasm,” the moment left a lasting mark on his reputation. Now, by signal-boosting theories about racial “slaughter,” Musk seems to be leaning even further into a role as a defender of what he calls “Western values.”
In addition to the “solidarity” post, Musk updated his pinned tweet to highlight a video from Canadian professor Gad Saad titled “How to save the West.” In the clip, Saad calls for cultural hierarchy and stricter assimilation for immigrants.
He stated, “In order for the West to win this civilizational battle, it must proudly and unequivocally defend Western values… recognize that all cultures are not equal, recognize that all religious beliefs are not equally consistent with Western values, recognize that all immigrants are not equally likely to assimilate and adopt Western values.
Musk’s decision to pin this specific message suggests a coordinated push to shift the conversation around immigration and identity. While his supporters see him as a fearless truth-teller fighting “civilizational suicide,” his critics argue that he is using his massive platform to mainstream dangerous white nationalist rhetoric.
Musk is a total racist. He is dangerous to America. He has been given too much power. He needs to be out of America’s business. Send him and Trump and his cabinet to CECOT with a one-way ticket!
