A Clearwater, Florida man was arrested over the weekend after police said he slammed a kid to the ground at a playground after yelling about the children making too much noise.
The 70-year-old man identified as Kit Kull was taken into custody on a child abuse charge.
Police say a group of kids was playing at the playground Saturday at around 6:30 p.m. when Kull stormed out of his apartment upset “due to the kids being loud while playing.” Police say Kull then picked up a 10-year-old child by the shirt and slammed the kid to the ground. Luckily, the kid was not seriously injured.
Kull’s arrest affidavit noted that he was intoxicated at the time and refused to speak to a police officer.
