There aren’t many success stories when transitioning from the streets. In fact, these stories are far and few in between. To make a 180-degree turn and become a role model in the community is the best-case scenario, and Keith Presley has done just that while shaping his own narrative since his release from prison. The former kingpin tells it all in his book titled, It’s a Dirty Game: Memoirs of a Hustler.

Currently residing in Chicago, Presley is a former Kingpin turned author and business executive. He is making waves not only in the literary world but in the sports world as well.

In an exclusive interview with Baller Alert, Presley shares how his experiences shaped him into the man he is today.

“Prison is different for everyone, but for me, I learned the law,” he said. “I learned a new language. I learned a lot about myself. I learned a lot about people and about life.”

He was blessed with a natural gift of interpersonal intelligence. KP can communicate and create relationships with people from all walks of life. He has respect for people who work hard to achieve their goals and truly abides by the “G-code.”

“Without no law, there is no order,” he said. “‘G Code’ is a set of standards and laws which governs my footsteps in all my encounters with people – whether personal or commercial.”

Presley’s story is compelling and thought-provoking. His recent release, titled, It’s a Dirty Game: Memoirs of a Hustler, is a book he wrote after being incarcerated on federal and state drug conspiracy charges. He shared the challenges he endured while writing in prison, stating that it was hard for him to focus while he was there.

“There is a lot of noise in jail. I learned to do my best writing when I had peace and tranquility,” he said. Described as a Hollywood script and a street bible, Presley said he was able to focus on writing by waking up at 4 am before everyone started their day.

KP’s book discusses the highlights and life lessons associated with being at the top of the drug game. According to Presley, prison was one of the best things that ever happened to him.

It’s a Dirty Game: Memoirs of a Hustler is going for $1000 per book. According to KP, it has the feel of other notable publications like “48 Laws of Power”, “Art Of Seduction,” and even 50 Cent’s “50th Law Of Power”.

“Once you fall into the first page of the narrative, it’s tough to put it down,” he said.

He currently sits on the Board of Directors for BTLE (Bigger Than Life Entertainment), where he is also the face of the company. Presley also promotes professional boxing matches worldwide. BTLE fights are televised on CBS Sports in the USA and Canada and globally through Fight Tyme streaming services.
