Former NFL Player Leaves Toddler In The Car To Hit Strip Club

Ok, clearly there is something in the water and idiots are leaving their children in hot cars while they party. Did the cost of baby sitting rise and I missed the memo?

Former University of Florida linebacker Monty Grow, who later played two NFL seasons as a defensive back for the Chiefs and Jaguars, faces a child abuse charge after allegedly leaving a 3-year-old girl in his car while he hung out at a strip club.

It’s not clear what Grow’s relationship is to the child. Police in Pinellas County, Fla., said Grow was supposed to be looking after the little girl last night, but that at 9:09 p.m., the girl’s mother was able to use GPS to track Grow to Diamond Dolls, a strip club just outside Clearwater. The mother and girl’s grandparents drove to the club, arrived within minutes, got the girl out of the car (unharmed), and called the cops.

Grow admitted to leaving the child unattended, officials said, but claimed he hand only stopped by the club for a few minutes to collect money he lent to a club employee.
