Former Soccer Player High On Fentanyl Bites Off Elderly Man’s Ear & Face

A seriously disturbed Oregon man is accused of devouring the face and ear of an elderly man because he believed the victim to be a robot.

The terrifying incident took place on Tuesday at approximately 2:00 a.m. when the 78-year-old victim was standing on the Cleveland Avenue TriMetMAX train platform. For no apparent reason, ex-college soccer player Koryn Kraemer attacked the gentleman, chewing relentlessly on his face. Kraemer, who was heavily intoxicated and high on fentanyl at the time, violently tore the man’s ear off with his teeth. He then began eating at the flesh on the helpless elder’s face so forcefully that it exposed parts of his skull.

Witnesses phoned the police, who responded to the scene and caught the 25-year-old in the act. Strangely enough, when law enforcement stumbled upon the grisly scene, they refrained from using justifiable excessive force, which they often reserve for unarmed Black and brown people. Instead, they simply pulled the demented suspect away from the man, who was rushed to a local hospital. He is now in stable condition.

During his interview with detectives, Kraemer admitted to drinking alcohol and consuming fentanyl pills and marijuana. He confessed that he believed the victim smelled like a “robot,” which prompted him to begin the assault. Kraemer also shared that he spit out the flesh as he gnawed it off and even expressed gratitude to the police for separating him from “the robot.”

On Wednesday, the once-promising athlete was charged with second-degree assault. He pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors have requested that the judge not grant him a bond, as he poses a serious threat to the community.
