Gary Busey Faces Sexual Assault Charges After Allegedly Inappropriately Touching People

Actor Gary Busey faces four charges after he was accused of inappropriately touching people.

New Jersey police charged him on Friday with two counts of criminal sexual contact, one count of criminal attempt/criminal sexual contact, and one count of harassment.

Authorities say the criminal charges stem from a report of a sex offense that happened  August 12-14 at the Doubletree Hotel. They described more than one incident of people reporting during the Monster Mania Convention — an event Busey was booked to appear — however, the details remain unclear at this point. The Cherry Hill Police Department didn’t go into detail about what was reported.

Gary was in attendance for the event and took multiple photos with fans throughout the three days.

It’s unknown if the actor has left town or what the process will be if he has to answer to the charges in Jersey. He lives in California and it doesn’t sound like he was arrested there on the spot last week, TMZ reported.
